Our Story

When people make authentic choices, they can achieve so much more. However, wanting something to happen is not the same as actually doing something. That is why we help people to turn what they want and find important into action. We teach people how to break patterns and how to create new habits so that they can control their own lives in a world that is constantly changing.

The Lab of Life was created by a collaboration of behavioral scientists from Radboud University and business scientists with a mission. We know from science that lasting change requires more than awareness and inspiration, which is often central to training and coaching processes. How many times did you make a good resolution, inspired by some event or person, but were swayed by the issues of the day?

Although change is difficult because of the natural resistance that people have against it, there are proven principles from science that can help. We cannot determine what is important and valuable to a person or organisation. However, we can teach people how to independently adjust their own behavior. That is what we do.

With that skill, goals can actually be achieved. Better or safer collaboration, balancing your work and private life or intrinsically motivating young people to discover what they find important? Learning to take control means having enough energy and motivation for the important things in life. It means being ready for the future.
